Hilda Steve, Shannon, Eli, Aaron and Max</div> <bR> <div> Then in Feb. we celebrated Steve's 60th birthday with a surprise </div> <div> party  (that probably wasn't a total surprise).</div> <div> <IMG <div> Ashlyn, Molly, Ian, Bella, Alia and Luther</div> <bR> <div> Max and Molly were married in May.  Steve and I taught them</div> <div> their wedding dance, which they carried off perfectly so that 35th anniversary  (a  little  early since</div> <div> it's actually in October)  because we were heading out to Fredericksburg, </div> <div> VA  for an Ostby family reunion.  It was great to start the trip off with </div> <div> Steve's wonderful family!  </div> <div> <IMG SRC="1463900b0.jpg" border=0 width="400" height="267" ALIGN="BOTTOM" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0"></div> <div> We ran  into his cousin Phyllis and her son Troy</div> <div> in New York City - they were staying only a couple</div> <div> of blocks away from us! </div> <div> <IMG SRC="1465900b0.jpg" border=0 width="400" height="267" ALIGN="BOTTOM" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0"></div> <div> Steve and Hilda at the Empire State building</div> <bR> <div> We also visited New York City ( just for 2 nights, but we packed </div> <div> as much fun in as we could ) and spent a few days in </div> <div> DC as well.  While  there we stayed with Katia and Uri Bogdanov.  We met </div> <div> Katia when she was at UNI as an exchange student from Russia about 10 years </div> <div> ago so it was great to see her again and meet her family.</div> <div> <IMG SRC="1461900b0.jpg" border=0 width="400" height="267" ALIGN="BOTTOM" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0"></div> <div> Steve and Hilda at the Great Falls on the Potomac</div> <bR> <div> We finished the trip with a  little get-together with people from my</div> <div> favorite photo site, <A HREF="http://www.caedes.net/Zephir.cgi?lib=Caedes::Gallery&author=wheedance&page=1" TARGET="_top" TITLE="http://www.caedes.net/Zephir.cgi?lib=Cae">Caedes.net, Hilda's gallery</A> It was wonderful to meet in person and</div> <div> we had a great time taking pictures together  in spite of  the heat. </div> <bR> <div> In August, I (Hilda)  took a trip to Bellingham, WA with my mom and </div> <div> siblings.  Mom liked calling it her Bucket List trip.  We took a ferry to Victoria</div> <div> on Vancouver Island and got to see the Orca whales.  What an awesome experience!</div> <div> I want to go the trip - seeing the Orca whales!                                       </div> <bR> <div> Steve and I started  teaching beginning ballroom classes in Waverly, only about </div> <div> 20 minutes away.
